Events Calendar Get ready for "Bayou City Rags!" The Houston Area Fiber Artists are excited to announce that they will be ready to wow you with their 2007 Style Show and Luncheon on Saturday, March 24. The special theme will draw on the eclectic life of our city to inspire the one-of-a-kind garments created by our artists. The Westin Oaks Hotel located in Galleria I is our new venue this year. There you can attend the Spotlight Boutique on Friday evening, March 23 in the Consulate Room. Be first to choose from a variety of handmade creations offered for sale by the artisans from 6 until 9 PM. Return on Saturday starting at 10 AM to shop until the "Bayou City Rags" Show begins on the Consort Ballroom runway at 11:30 AM. A wonderful luncheon follows the show. The Boutique will reopen after the show for sales until 3 PM. Many of the unique garments you have seen on the models will also be available for purchase. The $45 ticket price will assure you of a very enjoyable afternoon while enabling our 501(C)3 organization to support its Educational Outreach Program.
